Hello!

We are a group of photographers from South Australia who have decided that we need more photography in our lives. We started the group by having drinks at the pub and discussed what we want out of the group. This included trying new ideas, giving ideas or direction if we don't have any (get the creative juices flowing!), learning new techniques and growing as photographers (moving up a level) and to develop problem-solving skills with creating on a budget!

So in order to do this, we thought we'd have a monthly randomly assigned theme (whether it be a word, line of poetry, photographic technique, famous photographers to explore, symbols etc.) that we all take away and explore. Each month we'll try to meet up with our creations and discuss the photos (this may not be possible every month). Through critique and appreciation we can hopefully improve and this way we'll really give it our best. And every once and awhile we'll put a zine together.

This flickr is to post all of the photos that members take for the group. As feedback is very important to the group, it is necessary that all members comment on every photo posted. We can all learn from each other and grow as artists!

So if you live in South Australia, please join up! The group is only new and small, we would love new members! :)
