About Lehigh University September 11 Memorial Dedication

On September 10, 2006, Lehigh University dedicated a walkway in rememberance of the 12 Lehigh family members lost on 9/11/01. As a living tribute to the lives of those 8 alumni and 4 parents (of students then, alumni now), a walkway was created featuring 12 trees, permanently illuminated, and several benches for quiet reflection.

The dedication ceremony included the illumination of University Walk and Memorial Walk with 3000 luminaries.
