You've heard/read it before: "People shouldn't wear leggings as pants"

Says who?

This is a group for fashion-forward individuals who proudly wear leggings as pants, and/or at least appreciate & support the style of wearing leggings as pants.

When spandex leggings first debuted on the fashion scene in the mid 1980's, they were worn as pants. Why should it be different today following the Leggings Resurgence that began in 2005-2006?

A group for those who defiantly rebel against those fashion-backward, overly-conservative individuals who still think leggings shouldn't be worn as pants. How wrong they are! We will wear our leggings as pants and nothing you say will stop us!

The purpose of this group is to boost fashion acceptance of wearing leggings as pants until it becomes as normal as wearing jeans as pants.


Please submit pictures to the group of you or others wearing leggings (as pants or otherwise)!

No pictures of leggings being worn under dresses, skirts, long tunics, or shorts.
