About Learn to See Creatively
Based on the exercises in Bryan Peterson's Book, Learning To See Creatively: Design, Color & Composition in Photography (Updated Edition), 2003 ed.
Each week we will post the exercise from his book (in order).
Rules:
1. Please submit all images (warts and all) to the group pool
2. Tag images with Learn2See, AssignmentName_###
3. Post your best/worst result from each assignment to the discussion for comments.
4. Invite others that are interested.
5. We will do this going through the entire book at least once. We may keep repeating indefinitely.
6. Rules are subject to discussion and revision.
We now have official permission from Bryan Peterson to use his material as the subject matter in this flickr group.

Hi Parley-
Despite my best intentions, I really did mean to reply much much sooner than today to our email. So lets cut to the chase and simply say, "Yes" you are free to do as you have described with my book material in your flicker group. Thanks for your patience as well in my getting back to you.
All my best!
Bryan F Peterson
Bryan Peterson,
I recently read your book, Learn To See Creatively: Design, Color & Composition in Photography (Updated Edition), 2003 ed. I would like to start a flickr group that would be based on the exercises in your book. The only part of the book that I would quote at length would be the exercises themselves. I was expecting to do one exercise a week. I would like your permission / blessing to begin this project and invite you to join/lurk/participate/critique/etc.
If you're open to the idea but not the method, again, please let me know.
I imagine starting a discussion each week that outlines the exercise as laid out in your book. Then requesting that members post all the results (warts and all) to the group. Then to post their favorite / worst to the discussion forum for comments.
Thank you,
Parley Kennelly
