About Lasting Memories

This group is for photography lovers of all skill levels, but most of us are in the beginning stages of the hobby. I hope that through sharing our experiences we can learn more tips and tricks, get new ideas, and inspire each other's creativity!

We are currently doing 2 projects here.
1) Weekly assignments - these are assigned every Sunday and are due the following Sunday. We pick a topic/effect to capture over the following week and discuss the results. The idea is to learn as much about your camera as possible, get practice, and challenge your creativity.
2) 365 - Join if you're brave enough! The point of this assignment is to primarily challenge your creativity! You have to take a daily self-portrait (face does not have to be captured every time). It's lots of fun! :)

We also have a Photo Of The Week contest - everyone is welcome to submit their photo and vote on submissions!

If you have any questions about the group or assignments, or if you have camera/effect specific questions - please ask away! You can start a new thread whenever you like or you can email me and I will try to help as best as I can.
