That group doesn't seem to have a definitive LF slant. Most of the pictures I looked at were taken with old 35mm cameras (Canon AF, Minolta SRT 201). How they cut up xray film to work with those is probably a subject unto itself!

I wasn't aware. I can't imagine anyone putting that into 35mm cameras.
I have only seem these dirt cheap ULF ortho sheets being used as sheets for LF cameras. ;)

In the Lenses section you could include:
www.flickr.com/groups/868027@N25/ Petzval Lens Photographs
www.flickr.com/groups/615150@N23/ Brass lenses
Other groups that might have some relevance:
Tintypes, ambrotypes, Wet-plate Collodion photographs - www.flickr.com/groups/wetplate/
Contact printing - www.flickr.com/groups/contact_printing/
Glass Negatives - www.flickr.com/groups/glassnegatives/
Daguerrotypes - www.flickr.com/groups/dags/

@cabbiinc, hmmmm not really a LF -slanted group but might be of interest to many LFer's. The thing is there are lots of polaroid and instant film groups out there. I added the one I could find that had to do with 4x5. This one is kind of in the same boat as the x-ray group. Maybe a new category at the bottom that is "Not Large Format-specific But May Be Of Interest to LFers"?
@csant, thanks will add those.

John, "Not Large Format-specific But May Be Of Interest to LFers" actually applies to a few groups I mentioned, too - theoretically contact printing might start with small format, or even digital shooting, I know of some (few) folks that use Petzvals on DSLRs, and daguerrotypes can be really small… But nevertheless I think LF shots account for at least 99% of the work…

@csant, yeah there is a funny line there. The way I am drawing it for now is to either look at the description/rules or the content of the group in regards to what cameras are being used.
I just redid the categories, so I can probably move them under those headings.

The Polaroid Type 55 group is mainly a large format group:
www.flickr.com/groups/polaroid55/
There is a little bit of medium format since they allow type 665, but it is mainly LF.
P.S. This group is an excellent idea John. Keep up the good work.

@csant... The more I have thought about it, I think the corner cases are OK for this group as it should probably default to being a little more to the inclusive side. I altered the group description yesterday to reflect that groups listed will either be large format oriented or "of interest" generally to LFers. At some point though, it might make sense to separate them into their own section on the page?
I'll add these groups you put here later, as I am just taking a quick lunch break now.

Hi I'm the admin for "Toronto LF" here on flickr.. just wanted to say this is a great resource and commend you for all the work and compilation.
I'd like to put up a link to this page inside our own group's page as a resource. Let me know if this is okay.
cheers Jan

Added a few more groups from the past months. Some really specific ones... like the large format skateboarding one!
My criteria is that the group needs to have some photos in it and more than one member. There are still a few groups out there about LF that have no photos, so they are not currently listed.

Hi. The "small large format" group may be of interest. I know it's not officially "large" but this group is interested in supporting people with 6x9, quarter plate, etc., especially monorails, where the camera works just like a proper grown-up large format camera would.
