About Sri Lanka - Leopards of the jungle

Leopards are very shy creatures, and are very rare to be spotted in the wild. In fact Sri Lanka holds the highest concentration of leopard per square mile and is the only country in the globe to have them roam freely during the day.

I invite wildlife photographer to this group to exhibit their hard work and great luck. These animals are heavily protected, however their numbers are dwindling. This group is in memory of "Pushpai" a great conservationist and Park manager who was recently killed by the LTTE.
