The group is for photos of Great Britain that show beautiful compositional structure, not necessarily just beautiful photographs (i.e. a great photograph may be good because of subject or light). If you're an admin, please look for photos in other admin's portfolios to add to the group - you can add your own pictures but only if you are sure they have what it takes or if other people have already recognised it as such.

About The Art of Landscape Composition, UKThe group exists to represent the art of composition in landscape photography. Many photographs become popular in flickr because of the light or subject matter but as a photographer, I want to see pictures where the photographer has created something more through applying compositional skills. Each photograph will be expected to show something above and beyond choice of subject or beauty of light and will hopefully show the real skill of the landscape photographer. |
