About Landscape

This group should be for posting Landscape images, that is, images where LAND plays a MAJOR part in the composition.

Please remember that there are several hundred images submitted to the pool each day. If an image is removed during moderation of the pool - don't re-submit it (or risk being banned from the group if you do)
Images which are way off subject, or which are off subject and posted to 10 or more other groups, may lead to you being removed from the group in the hope that you will read the posting requirements a little more carefully when you re-join.
Posting a sunset will almost certainly result in you being removed from the group.
Images off topic (or sunsets!) and posted to more than 30 other groups will lead to a ban. DO you REALLY pay attention to ALL those groups?

None of this is a reflection on the quality of the image - Many very very good images are removed because they don't meet the groups requirements so don't take it personally if an image is removed.

Don't send "you missed a sunset but kicked mine out" messages or argue with the admins - if you think you can do a better job - flickrmail me and I'll gladly make you a moderator.

At the end of the day - if a moderator or an admin thinks an image isn't a "Landscape" group image and removes it - their decision is final, try again with another image or, if you really disagree with them, leave and join one of the many other landscape groups on flickr instead.
