About Land Art Connections

**Last updated on 04 April 2012**

Group Guidelines:-

The idea for this group is for invited artists to create some land art following the current theme. You should photograph your creation and then post your pictures here. Share some information about what you did, where you did it and the materials that you used. The idea is to stimulate new ideas, use new and different materials and for many artists across the world to share in a combined creative experience.

1) Post 2-3 pictures of your work
2) Post only pictures or work that has been created during the specified period of time
3) Follow the theme set by the nominated person
4) Tag images with "land art connections"
5) Link images to your map so we can see the location. Or state the location in your description
6) Describe what you did, what materials you used and a little about the construction
7) Add the date and time you made the work to the description
8) A nominated person will set each task for the rest of the group
9) A month will be allocated to each theme. Unless it is decided that the task is to be done in one day or another particular amount of time.
10) This isn't a competition so there is no voting or prizes. But feel free to comment on each others' photos and discuss whatever you like. Perhaps everyone can share their thoughts at the end of each month about their experience with the monthly theme.
11) Each member has at least a turn to set a theme.. By becoming member, you will be expected to post your theme into group discussion when you were nominated to set it. You can find the list of all the past projects here.

Suggested Future Projects
1) Themed project to be performed at specific local time
2) Use common materials

Any other ideas welcome.

Feel free to put forward any ideas, or suggest changes. Again we are just trying to get things rolling (hence the wheels!) and then others can take control and try new things.

Thanks all
Richard and Semra
