24 Sep 09 - Folks, thanks for the photos, but just a reminder: this pool is for photos of the City of Los Angeles' Historic-Cultural Monuments. Please try to only add photos that meet that requirement--that means in the City of LA (not Santa Monica, Pasadena, etc.), and on the list of HCMs. Please refer to the link below if you're uncertain (there's also a PDF at the Office of Historic Resources website).

About LA Historic-Cultural Monuments

The City of Los Angeles has over 500 designated "historical-cultural monuments" that define the cultural heritage of this city. A complete list of the Historic-cultural monuments is contained in the book: Landmark L.A (http://www.lfla.org/cgi-bin/store/8967.html) or online
(http://cityplanning.lacity.org/complan/HCM/HCM.CFM).

Help create a photo database of historic-cultural monuments in Los Angeles. Please follow the groups format: Namber of building or place as the title and the HCM number as the subtitle. You will have to look up the HCM number at one of the above references.
