About Kalamazoo, Michigan

The Biggest Little City In The Midwest... that is also a college (Western Michigan University, Kalamazooo College) town, center for the arts, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Birthplace of the Moped Army, the Gibson Guitar, Checker Cabs, halfway between Detroit and Chicago. Short drive to Lake Michigan.

And let's take a look at Kalamazoo County, the land of Tiny Towns: Galesburg, Augusta, Climax, Scotts,Fulton, Vicksburg, Richland, Comstock, Cooper Center, Alamo, Oshtemo and Schoolcraft. The square that's one county up from Indiana, one county over from Lake Michigan.


And let's not forget Portage, Land of Malls, which probably thinks it deserves its own flickr group. Hey, you're stuck with us, there's no denying it!
