Gaztetxea, okupatutako eta autokudeatutako topagunea da, bertan parte hartzen duten pertsonen esperientziaz eta langile jarreraz aurrera eramana, errespetuzko elkarbizitza eredu baten oinarrituta, non eta erabakiak gaztetxearen proiektuan lan egiten dutenen arteko asanbladan hartzen direnak. Gure bizitza askatzen duten alternatiba kultural, sozial, politiko eta kolektiboak garatzen dituen gune askea da.

Kukutza is an active cultural centre located in an abandoned factory, that was occupied in 1998. Since then it has become a lively social center used by people of all ages, respected and rooted in the Rekalde neighborhood, where there is a lack of public cultural infrastructures. The land was redesignated by the local council so that a new landlord, the CABISA developers society, who bought it vey cheap, can now demolish it and build private dwellings. The people of Rekalde will not tolerate the loss of this vital centre and will fight back by peaceful means.
