About Knitters for Barack Obama
The Knitters for Obama group on Ravelry.com is combing the creativity of individuals from all walks of life to create hand-knit goods for those in need. We are inspired by Senator Obama’s ability to bring people together for one purpose: change. During the primary season, we focused our attention on creating hats and bibs for underweight babies across the country. For the general election season, we will be bringing a positive light to Senator Obama’s passion for veteran and soldier issues by creating various handmade goods and distributing them to hospitals and homeless shelters around the country.
