Suggestion:
I dunno whether it will work or not..
In Bukit Cerakah, there're many kg houses.. we use to rent it for overnite stay...its a lil freaky at night cos its in the middle of a jungle..
but Im not so sure whether we can rent it for a day trip..
We can do pot luck... or we can also collect money so that we can cater for the food..
But somebody needs to check with Bukit cerakah la...

ermmm... i will try to draw a map and put it up.
in the meantime, the place is located at kampung sungai penchala:
1. if you're coming from damansara perdana / 1 utama into penchala link, just follow the sign to sungai penchala / ttdi.
2. at the junction, turn left.
3. go straight, and at the traffic light (with the mosque opposite the t-junction), turn left again.
4. follow this road, passing under an overhead (apa entah panggil).
5. bora asmara is on the left.
i will pre-order some appetisers / snacks, which i think should be rm10-rm15 per person, depending on how many are going to turn up. of course feel free to order more on your own. the food's yummy - i just went there for the first time last night. and as ena mentioned, great ambience.
so guys:
1. bring your kuih raya yang paling sedap.
2. wear your baju raya.

Damm I have been trying very hard to make it for at least one event and everytime I have been posed away. I so miss home ...... I am on assignment in Dubai till year end or Jan. Rumors have it that will be posted to Bangladesh or Bangkok after that. What a life ......................did not bring my SLR here .....sigh
EID in Dubai was kind of slow it's not at all like Malaysia with rumah buka/terbuka (why I said terbuka is because we get gate crashers as well) where neighbours (known and unknown) and friends (known and unknown) visit each other. Sini all sendirian berhad ...... so I really missed that moment where we visit and get visited. So what we few Malaysians did ...... got my friend's Father in Law to pack chun chun some rendand, ketupat and all the needfull .... yes Dodol and tempoyak included and ship it overnight via FedEx. Expansive I know but we had the taste of home cooked food. U don't get that kind of food here .... we substituted the satay with kebab la ........
