Geoff in Kingston (a group admin) says:
11 Jan 11 - There is plenty to photograph in the Kingston vicinity, and we are lucky to have an abundance of nature spots. However, in the interests of preserving those areas primarily for nature, can I ask all photographers posting here to keep the locations to themselves. The Group gets checked out by nature 'enthusiasts' from far and wide - many of them have no idea of how to conduct themselves and their behaviour is often detrimental to wildlife. So, please, no identification of nature spots.

About The Kingston Photographic Club (ON, Canada)

The purpose of the Kingston Photographic Club Flickr group is to complement The Kingston Photographic Club, its website and regular meetings by providing:
1. A place to introduce yourself and share our knowledge and techniques;
If you are new to the group you can introduce yourself here and at the same time find out something about everyone else.
2. An environment for members to share photos with other group members;
3. A place to post questions relating to the club; and
4. A message board to organize informal photographic outings.
How to get feedback:
The best way to get feedback on a photo is to start a thread (Click on "Post a new topic"), including a medium sized photo, with some notes on what you wanted to achieve.
To include a photo in a post:
1) Go to the photo in your Flickr photostream;
2) Click on the "magnifying glass + all sizes" button above the photo;
3) Click on the size you want (medium for this thread please); and
4) Copy ( highlight the text, ctrl+C) and paste (ctrl+V) the HTML code into the "Your post" box which is available after clicking on "Post a new topic".
