KIDS FOR KIDS helps children the world has forgotten, children in Darfur, Sudan, who live lives of inexcusable, and unimaginable, hardship. We are the only organisation created specially to help the children of Darfur, living out of sight of the world in the remote villages. Children who have never seen a toy, who have no books, no bed, often not even a blanket, who have little chance of education and, worst of all, who walk miles for every drop of water. Our projects provide a key to a better future - grass roots help, that the people themselves say transforms their lives, and the lives of the children, and gives a real chance of a better future. There are almost 4 million people struggling to survive in the villages of Darfur – out of sight of the world – yet the majority of the aid going to Darfur is concentrated on the emergency camps.

Key to our help is our Goat Loan Project - we lend 6 goats so that the children have milk, often for the first time in their lives. After 2 years they pass on 6 offspring to another family. Simple help that makes an enormous difference particularly now when inflation in Darfur is soaring and the price of a goat - just £22 ($40) is beyond a mother's dreams.
