About UK Live Music & Dance Petition
The Following petition has been raised on the 10 Downing Street Website:-
The recently introduced changes in licensing law have produced an environment where music and dance, activities which should be valued and promoted in a civilised society, are instead damaged by inappropriate regulation.
We call on the Prime Minister to recognise this situation and take steps to correct it.
We believe this petition is worth signing, whether it will have an effect is obviously unknown, but may let "people" know that the changes to the licencing act in Nov 2005 has done nothing to promote live entertainment and has had in some areas of the industry (mainly traditional Music and Dance) been counter productive.
It may just be "Peeing in the Wind" - but at least you can relieve your Bladder!
