Forum to allow people to remember the once great city of Pasadena before the ridiculous gentrification of the last 10 years.

Anything dealing with what Pasadena once was, kind of still is (where you look for it) and how it's being ruined by progress. Share your shots of the dying architectural masterpieces, life around the city, the down trodden, the artists, the idiots and the places that made you fall in love with the city in the first place.

What I'm not really looking for from the group.

1. No Rose Parade, growing up here I've seen it enough to last a lifetime. However if you have a shot of the old Applegates Landing (now Cameron's) in the background throw it on up there.

2. No Huntington Library, which is actually San Marino anyway, but all to often these end up in Pasadena groups.

3. No "new" Old Town shots. The new Tiffanys is not Old Town to me, give me The Hot Dog building company, The Ebar, the Loch Ness Monster Pub or Perkins Palace.

Please don't kill the administrator for deleting photos, it's not that they're not great shots, it's just not in keeping with the feel of the subject.
