About KECHARA - The Official Site

KECHARA is synonymous with H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's Buddhist organisation.

It began with one shop lot, Kechara Paradise, in SS2, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, which was set up in 2000. Today, under the spiritual guidance of His Eminence, the organisation has now grown into:
- Kechara House - the Dharma center
- Kechara Paradise Dharma outlets (4 outlets, soon to be 5)
- Kechara Soup Kitchen - a community action group which distributes food to the homeless and urban poor
- Kechara Oasis - a vegetarian restaurant in Jaya One, PJ
- Kechara Media & Publications - a thriving publishing house which produces books, DVDs and audio CDs
- Kechara Saraswati Arts - the first ever Tibetan Arts Studio in southeast Asia,
- Kechara Discovery - a travel consultancy which organises pilgrimages and sources for beautifully crafted statues
- Kechara In Motion - a video production house

and most recently, Kechara Lounge - a chill out haven in the heart of Boudanath, Kathmandu!
