About Kentucky Derby Festival: Marathon/mini Marathon

Months of training will be put to the test when runners line up at the start of the Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon on Saturday, April 30. 2011 will be the 38th year for the Derby Festival miniMarathon. The Marathon will be in its tenth year, with runners enjoying the scenic Cherokee Park and Highlands leg as they struggle to complete the final 13.1 miles.
