About Kansas City Area Natural Beauty
This is a group dedicated to the natural wonders of the the greater Kansas City area, as well as anything that is within close proximity to Kansas City. Basically, if you can drive there and back in a single day it is allowed.
A great thing about this area is the abundant parks and scenic areas in and around the city. This will be a place to share your experiences of such places, and to learn about new ones.
While the goal of this group is to focus on nature, photos that include a small amount of man-made objects is perfectly fine.
If you decide to join, welcome, and please let everyone know about your favorite places. Hopefully this will become a great repository of nature's hidden beauty all around this great city.
