About Kanji 漢字

Photos of Japanese lettering of any kind. This includes photos of katakana or hiragana only. (The name "kanji" is a legacy.)

グループテーマ：あらゆる日本の文字が主題という写真。「漢字」といっても片仮名か平仮名のみの写真も可。

Restriction:. All photos must have Japanese (not Chinese, Korean, etc.) lettering in them, and the Japanese lettering should occupy enough of the picture to be clearly visible at the scale of a thumbnail view.

限定　このグループの写真は日本語の文字(中国・韓国語不可)がなければなりません。その日本語の文字の大きさはサムネールで文字の有無を容易に確認できる程度でお願いします。

Participants are kindly requested not to post photos where the lettering is only an incidental or minor part of the photo. Please understand that such photos may be removed from the pool. If you are not happy with this restriction, note that there is another (at the moment larger) pool of photos which does not have any restrictions on content: flickr.com/groups/64605954@N00/pool/

日本語の文字が写真の主題でない場合、例えば文字がごく小さい場合や写真の背景しかない場合は写真の投稿を遠慮するようお願いします。
