About Kaleido-Swap

Hello everyone!

If you love swaps, and if, like us, you’re tired of choosing between one swap or another…
“Should I join a food swap, or a tea swap, or a gift swap this month?!”
Then, the Kaleido-Swap was just created for you!
It’s the perfect combination between everything we love to send and receive in swaps!
Each month you will get a Kaleido-swap partner to send surprises to. And the best part is that you’ll get surprises back from the same person! In this group, the packages to be sent must be secrets, not the partners!

Packages Must Include 5 categories of items (at least one item of each category)
Eveything must be accorded to your swap partner’s tastes, so be sure to read your partner’s likes and dislikes before shopping.
The 5 categories of the Kaleido-Swap are :
* Beauty:
Beauty supplies (lip gloss, soap, bath accessories, etc…) or anything to groom oneself (hairclips, hair brush, etc...)
* Drinks:
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate or anything to drink (tea bags, cappuccinos, etc…)
* Food:
Food from your country (chocolates, snacks, sweets, gums, etc …)
* Animal:
Animal related items (kitty notebook, dog keychain, duck magnet, cow socks, etc…)
* Surprises:
Anything you like that you think your partner will love! Surprise your partner with great surprise gifts :-)

The main rules are:
- Post your Likes/Dislikes and informations about you here :
What do you like? What do you dislike?
Where are you from?(Introduction post)
Birthday post!
- Post photos of your sent wrapped packages
- Post photos of your received unwrapped packages
- Tag photos with "Kaleido-Swap"
- Packages minimum limits are: at least 20$, and 5 different items, minimum … but of course, if you want to sent more items, go ahead! Be generous :-)
- Please note that this is an international swap group, so the postages rates can get high. Don't forget to send your packages via AIR mail, and not surface mail (as surface mail can take up to 5 months to arrive, and get easily lost!)
Kaleido Advice: in order to avoid to pay very expensive postage fees, try not to exeed packages of 2 kilos (or 4 pounds).

Timeline
- 1st of month:
you can join the Kaleido-swap, in the related post of the month!
- 5th of month:
you will receive your swap partner (swap partners will know each other, so you may contact your partner and share your addresses).
- 25th of month:
you must send your package and post photos of the wrapped gifts you’re sending.
