Welcome to JW History!

The purpose of the JW History group on Flickr is to enable brothers and sisters in our Worldwide Brotherhood to share images of our spiritual heritage with each other, that is, images which pertain to the modern development of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Membership in JW History is reserved for active Jehovah's Witnesses in good standing. By asking to join this group, you are asserting that you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses and that your current status within Jehovah's organization is officially beyond reproach.



Captions: Please theocratically tag and describe the photos you post to this group for the benefit and spiritual upbuilding of us all.

Invite Policy: Once you are a member of JW History, you are only allowed to send invites to those you have physically met and/or you know that they are in good spiritual standing in their local congregation.

If you hear of a member of JW History being disfellowshiped, please contact the group photoseers to make us aware of it, so we can take quick action.

Although admission to this group is by invitation only, JW History is still a public group. What does this mean to you?

... Public photos posted to this group can be seen by pretty much anyone with an Internet connection. That includes Flickr members who are not members of JW History and also the general public. Some of you may choose to make this an opportunity to bring public praise to Jehovah's name.

... Also, public photos posted to this group may be commented upon by Flickr members who are not a members of this group via your photostream... that is, according to your personal settings for your Flickr account in general for your images.

... Private photos posted to this group can be seen by all members of JW History, even those group members whom you have not yet added to your list of Contacts and designated as friends or family. All members in the group may also comment on your private photos as long as they are posted to the group.

... The general public, as well as Flickr'ites who are not members of JW History, have NO access to your private photos posted in this group. They also have NO access to the group's Discussions section. Private photos which you have not posted to the group are still private and invisible to those whom you have not designated as friends/family.
