About Plants in Iceland
Members of this group are invited to post photographs of native and naturalised plants in the Icelandic flora. The intention is to build up a good representation of the whole flora, including not just flowering plants, but also ferns, mosses, algae and fungi.
As far as known today, there are more than 5.000 species of plants and fungi growing wild in Iceland.
