About this Group
This is the replacement pool for what used to be JPG Magazine, now sadly closed so that the guys could concentrate on their magazine. That group had a great community which we would like to recreate here.

How to use this Group
Please only post two photos to the JPG Group per day. Photos can be of anything, but remember thisgroup is all about the photo, not the camera.
The following things are not allowed and will get your photo removed:
-- Overt digital manipulation (partial desaturation, photoshop tweakery).
-- Things that aren't photos (paintings, illustrations).
-- Photos that are copyright violations (stolen images, reproductions)
-- Borders of any kind.
-- Text that was added on top of the image (signatures, dates, copyright statements).
-- Anything that could offend (porn, obscenity).
We would hate to remove images from the group, so please don't make us do it. Anyone who violates the rules can be removed from the group.
Discussion Thread Guidelines
Feel free to post new topics for discussion so long as they're about photography . Blatant self-promotion or non-photography topics will be deleted. In responding to current threads, please try to keep the thread on-topic and polite. Any agressive or insulting comments will be deleted and could lead to you being removed from the group.
