About Joie de Vivre (Joy of Being Alive)
This is a HAPPY group.
It is intended for images of people or creatures that are positively bursting with the joy of being alive.
PHOTOS FOR INCLUSION ON THIS SITE MUST CLEARLY SHOW JOIE DE VIVRE, WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE TITLE OR THE DESCRIPTION.
- Mere smiling or other signs of simple happiness are not sufficient.
- The fact that the subject of the photo was experiencing joie de vivre at the time is not sufficient - IT MUST SHOW IN THE PHOTO.
So, before putting your photo into the pool, just imagine that you were not there when the photo was taken and do not know the subject(s) of the photo. Does it still CLEARLY show true Joie de Vivre?
Any photos not meeting these criteria will be posted in a discussion stream for comments from the group members. After 2 or 3 days, a majority vote by the group Admins will make the final decision as to whether the photo stays or is deleted from the pool.
