14 Feb 08 - The news of John Alvin's death is both surprising and sad. He was a talented and gracious man. Some of you don't know this, but my friend John, who co-owns TheGoonies.com with me, had been in touch with John Alvin about doing an interview for the Web site. Mr. Alvin was excited about helping us. Unfortunately, we were never able to complete the interview, and many of the answers we were seeking are now lost.
We will miss you, John.
