About Jefferson Park, Seattle Located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Jefferson Park is going through a major overhaul. Originally named after Thomas Jefferson the 52.4 acre park opened in 1908 and it is the sixth largest park in Seattle. This group is open to anyone and anything involving Jefferson Park which is quickly developing into one of Seattle's best parks.
