The legendary rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar" premiered as a stage performance in October 1971 on Broadway. Never before had audiencese as provoking as this but it still renderered great success from the start. English Andrew Lloyd Webber, music, and Tim Rice, lyrics, are the two geniouses behind what has become the worlds most played rock opera. Right now the rock opera plays on Malmö Opera with Ola Salo/Niklas Säwström as Jesus, Emma Lyrén/Åsa Fång as Mary Magdalene and Patrik Martinsson/Isak Kuritzen as Judas.
