About Jay Ward : Return to Moosylvania
"Now here's something we hope you'll *really* like!"
-- Rocky the Flying Squirrel
This group is a celebration of the genius of Jay Ward and friends.
Jay was a legendary producer of cartoons and commercials, notably the driving force behind the classic Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons. Along with friends Bill Scott, June Foray, Paul Frees, Daws Butler, William Conrad, Hans Conried, Alex Anderson and others, Jay Ward brought a mix of brilliant humor, lovable characters and bad puns to the TV screen that could be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike.
Jay Ward Productions was responsible for forever changing the way we looked at breakfast cereal with the creation of Cap'n Crunch in 1963. Quisp and Quake would soon follow.
A master of selling products through TV commercials, Jay earned my eternal gratitude for creating Wallace the Waffle Whiffer for Aunt Jemima's frozen waffles.

What I'd like to see in this group: collectibles, toys, ephemera, cereal boxes and premiums, cast photos, (respectable) fan art and other memorabilia.
Although Jay Ward passed away in 1989, his legacy lives on through his creations. As such, the group also allows newer items based on the old characters to be posted along with the beloved vintage goodies.
Pour yourself a big bowl of Cap'n Crunch, pop in a Rocky and Bullwinkle video and let's Return to Moosylvania!
