About Jagriti Yatra [www.jagritiyatra.com]Jagriti Yatra is a unique train journey across India to discover India’s real heroes. On board the train will be 350 of India's shining youth – the next generation of Indian leaders. The participants (Yatri’s) will be introduced to “unsung heroes” who through innovation and perseverance have undertaken a difficult challenge and have had a significant impact at the grassroots level in India. The aim of the Yatra is to instill in the youth through example, teaching and dialog, the feeling they can 'be the change' that India needs. The journey will be flagged off from Mumbai on December 24, 2008. Registrations are now open for participants at www.jagritiyatra.com. |
