About JAC Liner and Lucena Lines

JAC LINER, INC., carries an unbroken tradition of providing bus transport services in Metro Manila and Southern Tagalog regions over the last 19 years. Though the entrepreneurial acumen, determination and sheer hard work of its founders, a vision was transformed into what the company is now: a thriving and expanding enterprise committed to provide superior transport services to the riding public.

JLI acquired 26 brand new buses, and by early 1992 the company‘s fleet had swelled to 36 units operating along the EDSA corridor under franchises granted by the LTFRB.

In the light of these developments, in January 1994 JLI completely moved its operations to the Southern Tagalog regions, where, through its inherently superior services, it has established itself as one of the dominant and most trusted bus companies up to this day. Todate, the company‘s fleet not counting its subsidiary‘s units, has exponentially grown to 135 units.

The guiding precepts that JLI lives by in its day-to-day life are best expressed in the company‘s statement of its vision and mission.

Year 2004 was a major watershed in the company‘s history when the founders decided to go on semi-retirement and pass on the day to day management of the company to their 2 sons and daughter, while retaining long-term policy-making functions of the corporation; the latter now call the entire shots in the Operations, Maintenance, Finance and Administrative departments.

In less than 3 years of the Chua sibling‘s stewardship, they have reinvented the company to place it in a stronger and dynamic position to meet the challenges of the present decade of the millennium. Seen as a breakthrough is the opening of its Manila – Marinduque trips in line with the government‘s program to connect the Philippine archipelago through one seamless travel.

In December, a wholly – owned subsidiary, Lucena Lines, Inc. was formed and now operates a fleet of 54 buses on the Manila – Lucena line. It is operated completely independent from its parent company, with its own set of officers and employees, and with its own corporate objective.

Another subsidiary, Golden Dragon, Inc., has been incorporated, and pending completion of organizational requirements, will be operated to meet market demands and maintain group‘s lead position in the industry.
Present Operations

JAC Liner also owned ABtii, a body manufacturer . its base is located at antipolo city, Rizal. it is also the official dealer of Yutong Buses.

JLI presently renders ordinary and air conditioned bus transport, special and chartered services from and to Metro Manila to and from Lucena City and Marinduque.
Vision Mission

To be the best in the bus-transport industry and other related businesses.

To provide transport services of superior value in Metro Manila, Marinduque and Quezon at the least effective cost; to attain and sustain growth and profitability to fulfill commitment to stakeholders, while meeting desired customer satisfaction and ensuring employee‘s job fulfillment.
