About IYDD
Photos illustrating aspects of the United Nation\'s International Year of Deserts and Desertification.
Suitable photos would include images of Deserts, Desert adapted flora and fauna, anti-desertification projects and anything to do with IYDD.
As the IYDD is now well and truly over I have made the group invite only and will close all discussions. Essentially closing the group whilst leaving the images and what dicussion they generated for posterity.
Thank you for contributing so many lovely desert photos over the last year.
2007-2009 is the United Nations' International Polar Year. IYDD and IPY are part of a 3 year celebration of Planet Earth.
