About The It Gets Better Video Project

Hello Flickr!

As some of you may know from this photo, my friend Sami and I were working on a video for our health project on homophobia.

In it, we included pictures that we took of fellow students and teachers holding up signs that said "It Gets Better"--the phrase that inspired Dan Savage's It Gets Better Project.

The portion of the full video we made for our project that included these photos was not long enough to be submitted to the formal project's website, so this is where you all come in!

Please help us lengthen our video by uploading a photo that you took, or that you're in (or both!) that includes the words "It gets better" legibly written or typed somewhere in the photo. It does not have to be on a piece of paper that you're holding like in the photo of myself and Sami (above), though it can be; be creative!

EDIT - Even though the website we are submitting this video to is aimed toward telling LGBT youth that even though you may have it hard now--bullying, the sense of loneliness--it will get better, we also mean these photos to tell anyone who is going through rough times that for them, too, it does get better.
