International exposition for amateur photographers

SUBJECT: ITALIAN CITIES

Rome, 8-12 may 2006.

The exposition will take place during the ForumPA, which is due to be held in Rome (Italy) on May 8-12, 2006.

‘ForumPA’ is the expo/conference of Italian Public Administrations and municipalities (see www.forumpa.it), and sees every year the partecipation of thousands of visitors from all over Italy (51.000 last year).

The photographic exposition is dedicated to amateur photographers from all over the world. The main theme will be the cities of Italy (big, medium and small towns all included), with people, places and trends (i.e. the social and material actors of change) as specific themes

In order to partecipate, you must subscribe to the pool, and post a maxiumum of three works for each specific theme (you don’t necessarily need to post them all at a time). Each picture will have to be tagged with its spefic theme of reference and released under a Creative Commons license.

All works in excess or not respondent to the themes that have been set will be removed by the administrators.

All contributions will be published in the exposition’s weblog, whereas only a selection of pictures will be used for the exposition (the authors of the selected pictures will be invited to post the picture in an suit-for-printing format, together with a brief presentation - 4000 characters – about miselef/herself and the situation in which the picture was taken). The weblog will also host works about the on-going exposition that will be posted during the exposition itself.

The partecipation is free of charge.

In subscribing the pool and posting your works, you will automatically renounce your property rights in those materials for all iniatives directly or indirectly connected to the exposition (exposition, weblog, possible catalogue and promotional materials).

Deadlines.

You can post your works between Dicember 2005 and January 2006
The works will be selected in February
Materials will be printed and the exposition will be mounted in April
The exposition will take place in May

Mostra internazionale per fotografi non professionisti

Roma, 8-12 maggio 2006.

La mostra si terrà nel corso del prossimo ForumPA in Roma (Italia) dall’8 al 12 di Maggio.

Forumpa è la mostra/convegno della pubblica amministrazione e delle città italiane www.forumpa.it. Registra ogni anno migliaia e migliaia di visitatori da tutta Italia (51.000 lo scorso anno).

La mostra è dedicata ai fotografi non professionisti di tutto il mondo ed ha come tema le città italiane (di grosse, medie e piccole dimensioni) e per sottotemi le persone, i luoghi e le tendenze (intesi come i processi sociali e fisici di cambiamento).

Per partecipare alla mostra è necessario iscrivesi al pool ed inviare (anche in tempi diversi) massimo tre contributi per ciascun sottotema. Ciascuna foto dovrà riportare nei tag il sottotema di riferimento ed essere pubblicata in modalità Creative Common.

Le foto pervenute in eccesso o non rispondenti ai temi stabiliti verranno cancellate dagli amministratori.

Tutti i contributi verranno pubblicati nel weblog della mostra mentre solo una loro selezione verrà utilizzata per l’esposizione (gli autori delle foto selezionate verranno invitati ad inviare la foto in un formato adatto alla stampa e una piccola presentazione (400 caratteri su se stessi e l’occasione in cui è stata scattata la foto). Il webblog ospiterà anche i contributi che arriveranno nel corso dell’esposizione e avente come soggetto l’esposizione stessa.

La partecipazione alla mostra è gratuita.


La partecipazione al pool e l’invio dei contributi rappresenta e sostituisce una dichiarazione di cessazione dei diritti per tutte le iniziative direttamente ed indirettamente legate alla mostra (esposizione, web log, eventuale catalogo e materiali promozionali).

Exposición internacional para fotógraf@s no profesionales

Roma, 8-12 mayo 2006.

La exposición tendrá lugar durante el próximo ForumPA en Roma (Italia) del 8 al 12 de mayo.

ForumPA es una exposición/congreso promovido por la administración pública y las ciudades italianas.
www.forumpa.it. Cada año registra miles y miles de visitantes de toda Italia (51.000 el año pasado).

La exposición está dedicada a fotógraf@s no profesionales de todo el mundo y tiene como tema las ciudades italianas (de grandes, medianas y pequeñas dimensiones) y como tema de fondo a las personas, los lugares y las tendencias (entendidas como los procesos sociales y físicos de cambio).

Para participar en la exposición es necesario inscribirse al pool y enviar (puede ser en distintos momentos) como máximo tres contribuciones por cada subtema.
Cada foto debe llevar en el tag el subtema de referencia y debe ser publicada en modalidad Creative Common.

Las fotos enviadas en exceso o no correspondientes a los temas establecidos serán borradas por los administradores.

Todas las contribuciones serán publicadas en el weblog de la exposición mientras que sólo una selección de éstas serán expuestas (l@s autor@s de las fotos seleccionadas serán invitad@s a enviar la foto en un formato que se pueda imprimir y una pequeña presentación de 400 caracteres sobres sí mism@ y la circunstancias en las que se tomó la foto). El weblog contendrá también las contribuciones que lleguen durante el evento y tengan como tema la exposición misma.


La participación es gratuíta.

La participación y envío de fotos representa y sustituye una declaración de cese de los derechos para todas las iniciativas directa e indirectamente relacionadas con la exposición (exposición misma, web log, posible catálogo y material promocional).

Diciembre 2005 – Enero 2006: envío de las fotos
Febrero: selección de fotos
Abril: impresión del material y montaje de la exposición
Mayo: exposición
