About Is This A Landscape?

This group attempts to probe the question, "What exactly is a landscape?"

Post photos that you think are borderline examples of what might or might not be considered a landscape photo. (We're talking about the "scenery" definition of landscape, not the "width greater than height" one.)

Take a look through the photos, and leave a comment indicating whether you think it's a landscape or not. The goal should be to post photos that get a 50% yes/no split, and ideally start a fight.

This is a fun exploration of the semantic issues of defining a "landscape". You're meant to disagree with half the comments on each photo. Don't take it personally. :-)

Guidelines in brief:

* Do not just post landscape photos! Post photos that might be landscapes.

* If your photo is actually posted in a regular landscape group, it may be removed from this group.
