About Long Island NY History

Long Island NY before the shopping malls and rush hour traffic...a group dedicated to preserving LI's history in visual format.

Images can be your own modern photos of historic buildings or Long Island related artifacts and antiques, early photographs of people or places taken on LI, or vintage postcards and other relics of Long Island's past (matchbooks, train schedules, maps, journals, letters, etc.).

Subject matter should date from around the 1950's or earlier - the older the better!
