About Island Adventures Whale Watching

This group was created so that everyone could share their experience with whale watching in the San Juan Islands. Each year we take thousands of people whale watching and we wanted them to have a place to share their photos and experience with all of us.

The San Juan Islands provide one of the best whale watching opportunities anywhere in the world, offering calm waters and a huge variety of wildlife which includes our three pods of resident Orca whales.

Island Adventures Whale Watching is based out of Anacortes, Washington, only 90 minutes north of Seattle and 90 minutes south of Vancouver, BC. Anacortes is located on the mainland and is known as the “Home Port” to the San Juan Islands, providing the perfect departure point for our Orca Whale Watching & Wildlife
