Islam and Muslims in Ottawa

As the name suggests, this is a group where you can share and discuss photos and ideas about photography related to Muslims and Islam in Ottawa, Gatineau and the neighboring region.

These are the rules:

What is Allowed?
Photos, and discussions must be related to things Islamic, or Muslim, and must exist in the National Capitol Region.

That is photos MUST be:
1. Islam, and Muslim related.
2. taken in the Ottawa region. (maybe even add to map)

Photos and discussions must be Halal, clean, family friendly, etc.
Funny stuff is absolutely and most certainly welcomed.

But...
No nudity, No lewdness, etc. That’s fair, right?

Also,
Politeness is nice, courtesy is encouraged.

Who Can Join?
You do NOT have to be Muslim to join, discuss, or post. All nice people are welcome.

If you are a Muslim photographer and wish to share you shots and thoughts with other Muslims in Ottawa and those shots fall outside the scope of this group consider our sister group Ottawa Muslim Photographers.

If your photostream is labelled as unsafe or mature, then your items will be disallowed, removed, etc.

Hey, I got an invite!
If you've gotten an invite on one of your shots please do submit it to the group. If you have other shots that meet our criteria please feel free to add them too. There is no restriction on the number you can add.

Invite others if you know or feel that their work meets our criteria.

Just have fun with it. There is much to explore in Ottawa.
