About Vignettes: Serious Story Boarding w/ The iPhone
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR JOINING LET'S HAVE FUN!+
Tons of incredibly imaginative and artistic iPhoneographers out there; now I want to see what kind of story you might tell us?! The method to my madness is I keep it simple and quick! You might want to try my method for starters but, you will inherently begin to develop your own. So, let's get started!
First - Think of a character and or scene. Develop your character; what is his or her motivation and find/set the scene. When "dressing" your character think quick and use what you have; do the same for a "set."
THIS IS AN EXERCISE IN YOUR IMAGINATION AND HOW IT MAY MANIPULATE YOUR ENVIRONMENT
Second - Grab your iPhone! Capture the character or object in his/her scene. Take quite a few shots but don't mull over it too long; think fast!
Third - Weed from your shots the best 3-10 that will convey your story (Beginning, middle and end).
Fourth - Edit (or not) in any iPhone camera application. No post production past the phone allowed! :)
Mine are a bit on the tragic side but, yours can be light and fluffy & cute or heck even boring, like landscapes (just kidding); let's see what you've got!

VIGNETTE, here, means TWO things and they are as follows:
*in photography, any process by which there is loss in clarity towards the corners and sides of an image
*in literature, short, impressionistic scenes that focus on one moment or give a particular insight into a character, idea, or setting
You MAY use the Literature definition or combine both but, there must be a STORY
