About iPhone art photography

An open contest, a work in process.

The contest aims to promote research results and stimulate further interest in new media and social networking in relation to art and photography.
The participation to the contest is open to anyone and free of charge.
The best 100 photos will be published ad printed on the iPhone art photography book.

Mobiles are constantly reframing the way we interact with reality and each other.
Having a decent resolution digital camera always at hand is as revolutionary as posting and sharing your shots on the go. Add to that tons of fun apps to experiment with, spice it with a great pool of likeminded geeks responding to your work and posting inspiring snaps.. got the picture?

This Flickr group will host all the competing pictures, everyone can vote for their favorites through the "favorite" button
You can also post and vote on the iPhone art photography facebook page ( "like" a pic to vote for it )

The contest officially starts on April ,9, 2010 and last until June, every Friday we'll declare the best picture of the week.
The first place winner will receive a complimentary copy of the book.

So get out there, shoot and share!
