About Iphone 4 Weekly Photo Challenge

This group is specifically for fun and educational challenges provided to owners and users of the IPhone 4. There will be fortnightly challenges and also an award system based on members votes. Members looking for technical discussions, recommendations for equipment and camera settings.

Challenge Rules

1. For each fortnightly challenge, members can post only one image taken with a Iphone 4to the thread titled [OPEN FOR SUBMISSION].

2. The image has to be taken in the 2 weeks of the challenge. Images older than the challenge will be removed.

3. Major post-processed modifications will not be allowed in fortnightly challenges. This includes, but is not limited to: HDR, layers, frames, stitching, etc. Participants are entrusted with the common sense to employ acceptable post-processing without altering the content of the photo.

4. WATERMARK/SIGNATURES - I would request a stop to the use of text (names, titles, copyright info, web sites, email addresses, etc) within the composition of any photos submitted here.

It is against the ethos of the competition, which is to produce naturally composed images straight from the lens to the web site. Although I appreciate graphic design, calligraphy and montage, this is NOT the place for them.

If you feel a strong urge to put any of the aforementioned text on your photo please keep it brief and restrict it to the bottom right corner in a small unobtrusive font, preferably black, white or grey.

Group Pool Rules

1. Only those images that are submitted to the challenges are allowed to be added to the pool, and those that are not will be deleted from the pool.

2. Members are allowed to add three images per week to the pool. The limit exists to facilitate feedback for the images submitted to the challenge

Challenge Voting

After the posting deadline, you must give a star to three of the photos posted in that challenge's discussion thread. Users who submitted an image are required to vote, but group members may vote as well. You cannot vote for yourself !
