About iPad in Use

I've been thinking quite a bit about the iPad since it was first announced in January. Studying the Keynote and reading early drafts of the iPad Human Interface Guidelines gave clues about creating great UI for the iPad, but it's really tough to design for something you can't personally experience. Now that many of us have been using an iPad daily for several months and developers have had a chance to refine their apps, we should have a better grasp on our own usage patterns.

Please post photos (and maybe a few videos) of iPads in use and title each picture according to the app shown. Then write a brief description about the interaction taking place and any thoughts on it. The photos will be most helpful if they are more candid than staged. Have the person using the iPad get comfortable and hold the iPad in the ways they prefer and in the chair/sofa/bed/etc where they most often use the iPad.

For example: I prefer to use the iPad while in a chair with armrests. I prop my elbows on the armrests and hold the iPad with both hands. My photos were taken by my wife who was standing on a step ladder behind me while I sat in my favorite chair and used the iPad normally.

These photos and descriptions will be incredibly helpful to me and fellow iPad developers as we think about and test various UI implementations.
