20 Mar 09 - Welcome everyone. I created this group because there wasn't another one like it. I hope it becomes a showcase of the best structural photos in Iowa. I look forward to seeing everyone's new structural shots! Thanks for getting the group off on the right path.

About Iowa Structures

A place to share your photos of structures found within the state of Iowa.

"A structure usually refers to any large, man-made object permanently fixed to Earth's surface, as a result of construction. These are divided into buildings and nonbuilding structures, and make up the infrastructure of a human society." - Wikipedia

All structures permitted from skyscrapers to homes, from barns to chicken coops, from bridges to outhouses. If it was built by a human and serves a purpose other than mere aesthetics, it is welcome here.

All photos which do not meet this criteria will be removed.

No photos of sculptures or other art please.
No nudity of any kind.

Don't post anything to which you do not hold the copyright. (ie - nobody elses photos)

We all like comments and favs but they aren't mandatory since it would take too much time to moderate. If you take the time to look at a photo please take a few extra seconds to say something about it.
