23 May 08 - I hate to sound weird, but this group is for photos taken from inside refrigerators with the door closed. All other images are liable to be removed from the pool. Thanks.

Why your photograph was removed:
a.) was your photograph not taken inside a fridge? (you're standing outside looking in, or it's not a fridge at all)
b.) was the camera inside the fridge, but you left the fridge door open? (I can see you, or I can see the light is on)

Yes, it makes it harder. That's the point.

About In the fridge

Welcome. Here you will find, and are invited to contribute, photos of refrigerators taken from inside with the door closed.

It's as simple as it is strange. A photo taken with the door closed, using your camera's timer function. The timer is important. Please do not attempt to get in the fridge yourself. Your flash will probably be needed too, unless your fridge light stays on when the door is closed (a good chance to find out!), or you have some of transparent fridge.

Actually, that's a good point. Photos of transparent or translucent fridges are particularly invited.

Tag
At the very least please tag your photo with "In the fridge" (or inthefridge, or in-the-fridge, it's all the same thing really). If you don't do this, one of the Fridge Keepers might do it for you. Additionally, please consider tagging the contents of your fridge too. That will make it easier (once Flickr index them) to find all photos from the pool which contain, for example, milk .

Notes
Please please add notes to your photo too. Notes make the picture much more entertaning. We'd love to see what this random stuff in the fridge actually is.

Rules
For now, the only rule is that the photo must be taken from inside the fridge. There are other groups around for people who insist on taking photos taken from outside the fridge. The weirdos.
