About In the details

Does your photo have some small details that gives a completely different meaning to the whole? Is your picture about providing a context to a meaningful detail?

This is also often the case with post-processed pictures, where you add or emphasize a small detail that adds a whole new impact and communicative dimension to the shot.

Please note that the group is not for photos of details, such as close ups, macro or super-tele photography, it's about the relevance of details within the shot.

Flickr previews often do not make justice to photos which should be observed in large in order to appreciate the relevant details.

I would also like to use this group to carry forward a proposal to the flickr team: please, give us an option to choose the crop of our photos to be used as icon in picture listings.
