So we partied like it was 1999, and now it's nearly 2010, which means the moon is due to careen off into space and friendly benevolent aliens will save us from ourselves. Teleporting to work! Visiting Grandma on Mars! Time Travel! Robots to do the vaccumming! Food Pills! Jet packs! Golf on the Moon! (presumably before it careens off into space).

Add your robots, aliens and various other future-themed bric-a-brac to the pool; as kischy, stupid, shiny or whatever as you please. Space travel. Robots - taking over the world, fighting space battles, helping families live better lives filled with joy and quality. people dressed up like robots. Aliens, in all their myriad guises, doing whatever aliens do. Improbably ridiculous gadgets, depictions of the future you dug up dated 1958. The future starts...now.
