As religion plays an increasingly prominent role in American politics, preserving the boundary between religion and politics is more important than ever.

Created in 1994 to celebrate religious freedom and challenge religious and political extremism infiltrating American politics, the Interfaith Alliance has 185,000 members nation-wide, from over 75 different faith traditions as well as members of no faith tradition.
